Jailed for allowing Koreans to stay illegally

Information from Da Nang, Vietnam – The woman named Dang Thuy Diem, 41 years old, was prosecuted in Da Nang.

Diem knows the Korean man without a passport or visa but still rents out a room.

The People’s Court in Da Nang sentenced Diem to 2 years and 6 months in prison for organizing others to stay in Vietnam illegally.

Danang detective – Diem rented an apartment on An Thuong 24 street, Ngu Hanh Son district, Da Nang, for business, named Dahome.

Woo Jae Yeol, 52 years old, Korean nationality, this person did not want to return to Korea, so he stayed in Vietnam illegally.

Many accommodation establishments refused to let Woo Jae Yeol rent a room, however, Diem agreed to let this person stay at his accommodation.

Diem did not declare his residence according to regulations, Vietnamese private detective.

From March to June 23, 2021, Diem made an illegal profit of 32.5 million VND.
