The police of Can Duoc district, Long An province, are temporarily detaining criminal Tran Hoang Thanh Duc, 17 years old, residing in Can Giuoc district, Long An province, Vietnam.
This person was detained for investigation of robbery and the previous robbery of a gold store.
At around 1:30 p.m. on June 26, Duc went to a jewelry store in Can Duoc town pretending to buy gold.
Duc holds an 18k gold bracelet, weighing 4.8 ounces. When the store owner didn’t pay attention, Duc ran to the motorbike parked in front and escaped.
Can Duoc district police investigated the case, extracted images from cameras, and searched for the perpetrator.
At 4:00 p.m. on June 27, Can Duoc District Police discovered and arrested Duc in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and recovered exhibits.
