On May 7, 2025, Lam Dong Provincial Police informed about the arrest of two subjects Nguyen Thi Huong and Nguyen Quoc Thang.
Vietnam private detective service agency, both of these people reside in Lam Dong, due to illegal drug trafficking.
The crime was discovered
Previously, at about 7:30 p.m. on May 5, Huong and Thang went to a gas station in Ward 1, Bao Loc City to receive a bag of goods from a passenger bus.
While the two were receiving the goods, the police raided and arrested them.
On-site inspection, the police discovered 8 small packages containing white crystals in the bag, with a total weight of more than 0.4 kg. The results of the examination determined that this was a drug.
Initial statement
At the investigation agency, Huong and Thang confessed to having bought the above drugs from a person of unknown origin in Ho Chi Minh City for 100 million VND, intending to bring them back to Lam Dong to resell to addicts for profit.
Consequences and warnings
This incident is a warning bell about the increasingly sophisticated and reckless situation of drug trafficking and transportation.
The subjects do not hesitate to spend large sums of money to buy drugs, with the aim of making a profit regardless of the law.

The case is currently being further investigated and clarified by the authorities. Lam Dong Provincial Police call on people to raise awareness of drug prevention and denounce crimes to contribute to maintaining security and order in the area.
