HCMC: Three Arrested for Beating Two Teenagers Unconscious

On July 6, police in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam detained three suspects for investigation on charges of intentionally causing injury in connection with an assault that left two teenage boys unconscious in Hanoi, Vietnam.

According to the initial investigation, on the evening of July 4, two teenagers, aged 15 and 16, were traveling on the street when they were suddenly attacked by a group of people wielding motorcycle helmets and wooden sticks.

The incident occurred on TX25 street, Thanh Xuan ward. Both victims were beaten unconscious and taken to the hospital by local residents with multiple injuries.

Based on security camera footage and witness statements, police identified the suspects and arrested three individuals involved on July 6.

Ho Chi Minh detective, preliminary findings suggest the assault stemmed from a personal conflict between the teenagers and the group of attackers.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the case, determine each suspect’s role, and expand the investigation.
