Math exam leak in Hanoi: Authorities Initiate Criminal Proceedings

On July 1, the police of Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi officially initiated a criminal case related to the act of “disclosing state secrets” during the 2025 national high school graduation exam.

According to initial information, during the Math exam held on the afternoon of June 28 at My Dinh High school,  Hanoi, part of the exam content was leaked while the test was still ongoing.

Hanoi detective, the incident was quickly detected by the authorities.

The Department of Internal political security (A03) under the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Hanoi police and related agencies to investigate the matter.

The initial findings showed signs of a criminal offense involving the disclosure of state secrets — an act punishable under Article 337 of the Penal code.

The Investigation Police agency of Nam Tu Liem subsequently decided to prosecute the criminal case to further clarify the individuals involved.

The case is currently under expanded investigation, and the identities of those involved have not yet been publicly disclosed.
