Police Inspect Two Notorious Massage Venues in Nha Trang

On July 3rd, the Criminal police department under the Ministry of public security, in coordination with Khanh Hoa provincial police, conducted administrative inspections at two major massage establishments in Nha Trang city: Massage Kingdom and Massage New Kingdom.

According to initial reports, both locations are situated on Tran Phu street — a bustling central area of the coastal city.

During the inspection, authorities found dozens of female staff members dressed provocatively, attending to clients in private rooms.

Several rooms showed signs of violating public decency and possibly engaging in disguised prostitution activities.

Police also confiscated various documents and equipment relevant to the investigation. All staff present were taken to the police station for further questioning.

Massage Kingdom and New Kingdom have long been known as upscale entertainment venues, attracting a large number of tourists and locals.

However, residents have repeatedly reported that these businesses often operate past legal hours and allegedly offer “special services”.

The Criminal Police Department is currently working with local authorities in Khanh Hoa to further investigate and handle any violations in accordance with the law.

Math exam leak in Hanoi: Authorities Initiate Criminal Proceedings

On July 1, the police of Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi officially initiated a criminal case related to the act of “disclosing state secrets” during the 2025 national high school graduation exam.

According to initial information, during the Math exam held on the afternoon of June 28 at My Dinh High school,  Hanoi, part of the exam content was leaked while the test was still ongoing.

Shocking park assault in Bac Ninh: Police Hunting for Suspect

Police in Bac Ninh city are urgently searching for a young man suspected of assaulting a woman at a local park on the evening of June 29, 2025.

A video recorded by a bystander shows the suspect suddenly approaching the woman, then violently attacking her.

The woman, dressed in white, was knocked to the ground and repeatedly struck with both hands and feet.

Fraudulent sale of land for Phu Quoc airport project

On June 25, the Criminal investigation police department of Ho Chi Minh city prosecuted and detained Mrs. Trinh Thi D. 46 years old, residing in Binh Thanh district, Ho Chi Minh city on charges of “fraudulent appropriation of assets”

Phu Quoc detective, according to initial investigations, in 2021, Mrs. D. falsely claimed to be the wife of a senior official involved in the Phu Quoc airport project.

She boasted about having the authority to allocate land in the airport area and promised to sell prime “project land” plots with high investment potential.

Trusting her claims, a victim transferred money to Mrs. D. multiple times — totaling nearly VND 5 billion, approximately USD 196,000 — to buy the land.

However, after receiving the money, Mrs. D. failed to deliver the land or refund the payment as promised. The victim later reported the incident to the police.

Investigations revealed that Mrs. D. had no authority or connection to the Phu Quoc airport project. All information she provided was fabricated in order to defraud the victim.

The case is currently under further investigation and expansion.

Prosecuted group of people for buying and selling marijuana

Quang Ninh Provincial Police have just prosecuted 26 people involved in an illegal drug trafficking ring with a total volume of about 600kg of marijuana.

The group of suspects used two websites to organize football betting. They contacted gamblers via anonymous messaging software to avoid detection.

On June 21, Quang Nam police, in coordination with Da Nang police, simultaneously deployed and searched the residences of Tri, An and other suspects.

The search process confiscated: 35 phones, 2 tablets, 2 cars, 50 million VND in cash. More than 15,000 pages of data and many related exhibits.

Detained male driver who caused accident in HCM city

At about 6:30 p.m. on June 15, 2025, on Kinh Duong Vuong street, near Sinco intersection, An Lac ward, Binh Tan district, Ho Chi Minh city, a serious traffic accident occurred.

Driver’s identity: Driving was Mr. Nguyen Bao Hoang, 31 years old, residing in Dau Tieng district, Binh Duong, Vietnam.

Mr. Hoang stated that he bought this car from Mr. T. in early 2023 but had not yet officially transferred the ownership

Situation: According to the statement, after eating and drinking with friends in the Inner Ring Road area, Binh Tan District, Hoang drove to Kinh Duong Vuong Street.

About 3km from the restaurant, the car had an “accident”, lost control, crashed through the guardrail, and swerved into the motorbike lane, hitting many passersby.

Consequences: The collision killed two women – mother and daughter, Mrs. B.T.C. and her daughter N.T.T, both living in Tan Binh district, HCMC – on the spot, and another man was seriously injured.

The road was blocked, and the scene was sealed off for investigation, Ho Chi Minh detective service.

Behavior after the accident: Hoang said he left the scene, then got in the car to return to Dong Thap. On the morning of June 16, when he learned of the serious consequences, he went to Cao Lanh City Police (My Phu ward, Dong Thap) to present himself.

Kon Tum: A young woman was beaten by a group of people

Kon Tum province, Vietnam – A young woman was brutally attacked by a group of people in broad daylight. Shockingly, the assault was recorded and livestreamed on social media, sparking widespread public outrage.

On June 16, the Kon Tum City Police confirmed they are investigating a violent group assault that took place in the area, Vietnam detective agency.

The victim, a young woman, was surrounded and attacked by multiple individuals. The entire incident was filmed and streamed live on Facebook.

According to initial reports, the assault may have stemmed from a personal conflict between the victim and the attackers. Set a trap to appropriate more than 3.5 billion VND

Hanoi – By exploiting the trust of her acquaintances, a woman orchestrated a fake “high-interest savings” scheme to swindle more than VND 3.5 billion, approx. USD 137,000.

On June 15, the Thanh Xuan District Police in Hanoi announced that they had initiated criminal proceedings and detained Nguyen Thi Huyen, born in 1985, residing in Thanh Xuan Trung Ward, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi on charges of “fraudulent appropriation of assets.”

Hanoi detective, according to the investigation, between 2022 and April 2024, Nguyen Thi Huyen frequently claimed to have close connections with financial institutions and banks.

She promoted herself as being affiliated with certain “savings centers” that offered interest rates significantly higher than the market average, promising quick returns and flexible withdrawals.

Trusting her claims, several individuals transferred money to her under the impression they were investing in high-yield savings programs. In reality, Huyen did not invest the funds as promised. Instead, she used the money for personal expenses and to repay previous debts using a Ponzi-like scheme—robbing Peter to pay Paul.

Her scam unraveled when victims attempted to withdraw their funds but were unable to contact her. Authorities have determined that she defrauded victims of more than VND 3.5 billion in total.

Police have issued a warning to the public to be cautious of investment or savings offers that promise unusually high interest rates. Any offer lacking legal transparency or clear institutional backing should be thoroughly verified before participation.

Hanoi: Fitness trainer detained for attacking traffic police

Hanoi city police have issued an official notice of criminal detention against Bui Lam Anh, a fitness trainer currently residing in Dan Phuong district, Hanoi to investigate the act of resisting a person on duty.

The incident occurred while the task force was on patrol
According to initial information from the authorities, at around 9:30 p.m. on May 31, the task force of Road traffic police team no. 9 was on patrol to ensure traffic order and safety on the route through Thu Que village, Song Phuong commune, Dan Phuong district, Hanoi city, Vietnam.

Hanoi detective, during the course of their duties, the task force discovered a young man driving a motorbike with suspicious signs, possibly violating traffic laws, so they signaled him to stop the vehicle for an administrative check. The driver was later identified as Bui Lam Anh.

However, instead of obeying the command of the authorities, Lam Anh accelerated, drove past the task force, clearly showing his intention to flee.

When reaching a section of road ahead, the subject suddenly stopped the vehicle, turned around and approached Senior lieutenant Le Duy Khanh, the person who had just signaled to stop the vehicle.

When approaching, without saying a word, Lam Anh suddenly used his hand to make a strong movement, knocking Senior Lieutenant Khanh down on the road. This action happened so quickly that the people around and the task force could not react immediately.

The remaining soldiers in the task force quickly restrained the subject and brought him to Song Phuong commune police headquarters for clarification. Senior lieutenant Le Duy Khanh was taken for a medical examination immediately afterwards.
