Fines for posting false news about Dak Lak

A 38-year-old man, living in Hoi An, Quang Nam was fined 5.5 million VND for reporting false information, the incident in Dak Lak.

Pursuant to Decree 15/2020, this person was fined for reporting “providing and sharing fake information, false information, distorting, slandering, insulting the reputation of agencies and organizations”.

The man living in Hoi An city, at 11am on June 11, used his personal Facebook to share posts with false information.

This person, after sharing, publicly commented falsely, slandered, and insulted the reputation of the organization.

Penalty 15 months for youth to hit traffic police
