Information from the Thua Thien Hue provincial police agency, the authorities in Hue City opened a special case, investigated and arrested an object of organizing gambling through online games.
Detective in Hue – Hoang Ngoc Phu was born in 1992, residing in Huong Vinh ward, Hue city, and was arrested in this case.
Initial investigation revealed that Phu worked as a level 2 agent of the game portal Explosion and Gamvip, organizing gambling for gamblers.
Phu bought from a superior agent for 0.83 dong/point, sold it back to gamblers for 0.85 dong/point and bought it from gamblers for 0.8 dong/point.
Phu also created his own accounts to buy and sell points to enjoy the payment of transaction fees from the superior agent.
Phu organized for 15 gamblers to gamble in the form of online games with an amount of about 900 million VND.
