Prosecution of 2 people against Da Nang 911 force

Da Nang City Police temporarily detained two young men who threw stones at the 911 force on duty.

The police of Cam Le district, Da Nang, Vietnam have prosecuted the case, prosecuted the accused and temporarily detained Mr. Viet Thanh Sinh and Phan Thanh Cuong, both residing in Cam Le district, for acts of resisting people on duty.

Sinh and Cuong were two people who repeatedly threw rocks at the 911 force on duty on the evening of March 13, 2024.

According to an investigation from Da Nang police, the police determined that Sinh and Cuong’s actions were discussed in advance and carried out together.

On the evening of March 13, 2024, Sinh was driving a motorbike on Le Dai Hanh street without wearing a helmet, so team C5 of the 911 force signaled to stop the vehicle for inspection.

Sinh did not comply and crashed his car into the patrol force to run away. Sinh asked Cuong to drive him back to the working group to throw stones.

Cuong drove Sinh’s motorbike to throw two rocks at the force on duty.

Vietnamese detective, about 10 minutes later, two young men continued to return and throw stones at the working group.
