Information from the authorities, two people named Dat and Diep Tu Hieu were prosecuted by Phan Thiet City Police for the crime of forging documents of agencies and organizations under Article 341 of the Penal Code.
In mid-September, local police discovered that some people were using fake Covid-19 test papers to pass the quarantine point, so they secretly monitored these people.
Vietnam Detective – Investigating, the police determined that these fake papers were made by Tran Xuan Dat and sold by Tran Xuan Dat.
Dat & Hieu and some related people were arrested. Police conducted a search of the residence and seized 27 rapid test test sheets with false negative results, a computer inside with relevant data and a color photocopier.
Dat told Hieu to make 100 fake test papers for 15,000 VND each. He then sold it for a profit.
