Quang Ngai: Man charged for beating 2 traffic police

Nghia Hanh district police have prosecuted and detained Nguyen Vu Duy Anh to investigate the crime of resisting a person on official duty.

Vietnam detective, the traffic police team of Nghia Hanh district Police organized a patrol on Highway 628.

When they arrived at Hanh Minh commune, the police discovered Tran Huynh Quoc Huy, driving a motorbike carrying Nguyen Vu Duy Anh without a helmet.

Huy did not have a driver’s license and did not carry the vehicle’s papers.

The police proceeded to draw up an administrative violation report against Huy and temporarily impounded the motorbike.

Duy Anh said that the motorbike in violation was his, and repeatedly asked the police to ignore the violation and not impound the motorbike.

This subject also climbed onto the motorbike and inserted the key with the intention of leaving, but was prevented by the traffic police.

Duy Anh suddenly attacked and punched a traffic police officer twice in the face, causing him to fall onto the road.

Another officer who rushed to support his teammate was also punched in the face by Nguyen Vu Duy Anh, causing a bruised lip.
