In the plan to cut the budget, the cause of Jefferson County, Colorado prison had to release 31 prisoners ahead of time to avoid overcrowding in this prison.

The Jefferson County prisons operating budget has been cut by $ 5.5 million as of January 1, 2020, because the county government is short of revenue due to tax refunds for local residents.
Under the new plan to accommodate budget cuts, when the number of prisoners exceeds 2% of capacity, the prison will start releasing prisoners who have completed at least 50% of their sentences.
Detective Service in Vietnam – Prisoners who have to comply with the minimum penalty prescribed by law or are banned by the judge early release will not be considered.
If the first step is not effective, the prison will only accept those sent to by the judge, the person arrested on the order, or the person suspected of serious offenses, while also denying the less serious offender.
According to Jeff Shrader, the Jefferson County jail is estimated to undergo this step in the summer of 2020.
