Robbed a bank to pay off debt during Tet

Dinh Khuong Linh owed money from gambling, so he took a knife and broke into the Vietinbank transaction office in Cua Lo town, stealing 46 million VND.

Linh, 38 years old, residing in Nghi Dien commune, Vinh city, Vietnam, is being detained by Nghe An Provincial Police to investigate the crime of Robbery, according to Article 168 of the Penal Code in Vietnam.

On February 1, Linh covered a mask, held a knife and rushed into the transaction office located in Thu Thuy ward, Cua Lo town.

Vietnam detective agency – There are about 20 people in the transaction office right now, including customers and employees.

Linh stole 46 million VND, ran out and drove a motorbike to escape towards Vinh City, Nghe An, Vietnam.

The police discovered Linh hiding near Highway 1 in Nghi Dien commune, Vinh city, so they arrested Linh.

Initially, Linh did not admit to being the culprit. At 5:30 a.m. on February 4, 2024, Linh confessed.

The case continues to be investigated and clarified by Vietnamese detectives services.
