Suspect Arrested for Breaking into Nearly 10 Homes in HCMC

On April 6, Ho Chi Minh city police announced the arrest of a suspect linked to a series of burglary cases in the area.

According to initial investigations, the individual repeatedly broke into residential houses, taking advantage of lapses in property security to commit theft.

In total, the suspect is believed to have been involved in nearly 10 incidents across multiple locations.

The suspect’s modus operandi involved monitoring potential targets, selecting houses that were unoccupied or lacked vigilance, and then sneaking inside to steal valuable items such as cash, mobile phones, and electronic devices.

Following reports from residents, the police conducted investigations, gathered evidence, and identified the suspect.

The individual was arrested while in hiding, and authorities also recovered part of the stolen property.

The case is currently under further investigation for legal handling in accordance with the law.
