According to information from the authorities in Thach That district, Hanoi, on August 29, a man named Hoa was issued a decision on criminal detention by the police of Thach That district, Hanoi to clarify his behavior. He resisted the law enforcement force that this person had caused earlier at the Covid19 epidemic control point.
According to the investigation of the authorities, around 2pm on August 27, 2021, Hoa drove a motorbike with her friend through the Covid-19 checkpoint in Bach Kim village, Lai Thuong commune.
These two people were checked by the working group, and asked to show their travel papers and identification documents, but they did not have the passports according to regulations.
Hoa loudly cursed, caused a commotion, demanding to pass the Covid19 quarantine point. Hoa was then controlled and brought to the headquarters of the Commune People’s Committee for investigation and work.
Hoa rushed to punch and stabbed the deputy police officer in the abdomen with a knife and hit his waist. Hoa continued to protest, using scissors to injure another officer.
