Da Nang city court opened a trial and sentenced Doan Cong Tuan Luc to 5 years in prison for robbery, Vietnamese detective service agency.
At about 10:00 p.m. on March 2, 2024, Luc rode his motorbike from his room to a pub on Vo Van Kiet street, Son Tra district, Da Nang city, Vietnam.
Luc saw Mrs. Sahu P.A. 35 years old, Indian nationality, walking with her boyfriend on the sidewalk and carrying a bag.
Luc had the intention of robbing property, so he turned around and went onto the sidewalk in the opposite direction to commit robbery.

Luc quickly escaped and stopped at the area of Do Ba – Vo Nguyen Giap street, Son Tra district, Da Nang, to put his bag in the trunk of the car and then went to the pub.
The force took the bag that was snatched and it was checked, but there were no valuables inside, so it was hidden.
On the afternoon of March 3, Luc took his bag and threw it away on Pham Cu Luong street, Son Tra district, Da Nang city.
The police discovered that Luc appeared suspicious and invited him back to the headquarters to work. Luc confessed all his crimes.
