According to information from the authorities, on March 21, the police of Hoang Mai district, Hanoi, Vietnam, said that they prosecuted and detained two men named Dung and Thanh to investigate the crime of threatening to kill. Dung has an apartment building on Linh Nam street, Mai Dong ward, Hoang Mai district, Hanoi Vietnam. The apartment was on fire but why is not known.
Dung then invited Thanh 6 times to the apartment management office to claim benefits of compensation caused by the fire. Every time he came, Dung cursed and threatened the staff here.
On March 8, 2021, when he was invited by Dung, Thanh bought 20,000 VNĐ gas with the purpose of revolt and pressure. At around 15:00 on the same day, Thanh took two gas bottles to the management office and poured it on an employee. 5 people present were there fearing and pleading, but Thành cursed loudly and threatened: “Do you believe I burned you”.
