Social networks spread a video recording the scene of a man using a weapon to attack two women, in a high-end urban area in Tay Mo ward, Hanoi.
The clip shows one of the two women bleeding, and the two victims also screaming, showing fear.
The incident stopped when an urban security officer and another girl intervened and helped the two victims escape.
Initial information said the victim was the suspect’s wife and friend.
The cause and identity of the subject have not been disclosed, the case continues to be investigated.
