A serious incident happened in Quang Binh – Nguyen Truong Nghia (32 years old) gathered firewood, burned a transformer station to heat it after using ice. The vandalism incident seriously affected the supply of electricity to people and detectives in Vietnam.
Accordingly, on December 31, Nghia was arrested by the Quang Ninh District Police in Vietnam to criminalize property destruction.
When arrested, Nghia had a positive reaction to the drug.
At the investigating agency, Nghia declared 20h on 28/12 after using ice to feel cold so fueled wood under Loc Long 1 substation, then burned down the transformer station.
The fire damaged many equipment, causing blackouts in the entire residential area.
After three days of investigation, Quang Ninh district police found Nghia. The case is continuing to be investigated and clarified.
