Ha Tinh: Girl Takes Mother’s Gold Necklace and Sells It

Police in Huong Tra commune, Ha Tinh province, have investigated and clarified a case involving an 11-year-old girl who took her mother’s gold necklace and sold it.

According to authorities, the girl, identified as A.K.H., took a gold necklace belonging to her mother without permission.

She then persuaded a friend of the same age to accompany her to a jewelry store, where they sold the necklace for spending money.

After conducting an investigation, the police determined the circumstances of the incident and recovered the property, which was subsequently returned to the family.

Given the young age of the children involved, authorities focused on education and counseling measures while working with their families to strengthen supervision and guidance.

The incident serves as a reminder for parents to pay closer attention to both the management of valuable belongings and their children’s behavior and social interactions in order to prevent similar situations from occurring.
